Basically, I have this thin metallic frame for my glasses and in some areas, the paint chipped off and there is even some rust. I don't have a lot of money for a new frame so I'm gonna paint it. It's colored black and I used a marker before but as you can guess, it didn't work. The ink came off so what kind of paint do you suggest I use and do you know from where I could buy it cheaply?

Acrylic enamel spray but first use a grey primer, one coat should do then use 2 thin coats of paint.. Tape the areas you don't want painted. Use Blue Painters tape , because it does not leave a residue.

hmm... why dont you try permanent paint. The one they used for painting metals or perhaps cars. Or maybe, you should try being creative. Why dont you remove the paint that has been left behind? Remove everything and include the rust. Use some kind of material to remove rust. Anyway, thanks and good luck with that.
