I need to paint paintings that are either romanticism or realism paintings. I don't know what to paint because they are very hard. I'm not really good in painting so i need something easy.

Thank you in advance :)

hello !

when you first want to paint , get some art supplies . if you can afford artist grade supplies buy them because they are great ! even if you are a beginner it is better to have good quality supplies because you will learn to paint with them .

after you got them , buy a book or 2 .

there are many books for beginners and they are great because they teach you techniques and how to take care of your brushes ... you can't learn alone yourself , their title usually are (an introduction to watercolor or oil painting ) ..

....................................................

painting ideas :

first choose a subject that you love to paint and do a sketch (draw outlines by very light lines , don't use bold markers or pencils because they ruin your painting when you apply your washes)

and then paint on it , always feel free and don't be afraid , all artists mistake at first .

painting for first few times is very difficult for beginner but you will get a lot better after few months .

PAINT whatever you like , those subjects are easy :

flowers , trees , cartoon , animals , fruits .

paint an apple ! my first painting was painting of an apple .

go to google images and type : watercolor or oil or acrylic painting of apple .

and you will see many results choose one and draw it and then paint it.

always look at something and paint it , never paint without looking at anything !!

also watch videos on youtube , they help a lot !!

wish you a great luck and have fun !!!!!!!

Go to your favorite place. An offer of what to paint wouldn't suit me and I think that it wouldn't suit you. You have to go out there and find inspiration to paint otherwise you wont put any passion into your painting, and a painting without passion normally ends or doesn't have the same pizazz if you know what I mean. I always look at nature and that's what inspires me. Sometimes I paint or draw someone really important to me, in my life. Sometimes I paint who I want to be. Painting should be a relflection of yourself and your feelings that way when someone looks at it they will be touched. A painting too serious could never get the same affect.

Try painting old romantic or realistic paintings (a photograph in a book will work). This is an old way of learning a particular school of art. Many old masters did this. It teaches you technique, eye/hand control, and balance. Pick one you like. "Art comes from art."

I don't know any websites, but a friend of mine did her toenails with black and white zebra stripes using poster paints and then put on a clear varnish top coat. They looked fantastic.
