What Should i paint on my canvas?

Question

I got a Canvas for a christmas present so i really wanted to paint something on it ( something original) but i really have no idea what to paint What should i paint!?!

An abstract tree. With noticeable brushstrokes. With leaves of all colors.

paint what ever you like when i paint i have to look at the picture weather its from a magazine or a real picture you should look at books and magazines to get some Inspiration or walk around your home,block,city,town with a camera and take pictures till you find some thing that's just right to put on your canvas something ordinary can be made extraordinary just by taking a picture at a different angle

Perhaps you could paint something that has to do with your region that you live in. For instance I live in the desert, so I would paint cactus.

You can look on etsy.com for examples that might get your creative juices flowing.

I got 2 huge canvas! and I dunno what to paint either.

At the moment i've been painting scenery on one of them cause my mum wants something for the lounge.



What I usually do though, I look through pictures on deviantart and then I try to combine them and personalize them into my own painting.
