In the movie, Titanic, Rose and Cal bought some paintings that we would later know as Picasso's and Monet's, etc.
Did some of those paintings really go down with the ship in real life? I know for a fact that Monet's lily pads did not go down with the ship because they are hanging in the Art Institute of Chicago as well as the ballerina painting. Does anyone know if any paintings of well-known artists went down with the ship? Also have there been any discoveries of art during the search of the ship?

First of all, Monet painted dozens of lily pad paintings, not just a few, so there could have been one or a couple on the ship. I'm not sure about the other paintings.
