Do yellow and brown paint go well together?

Question

I want to paint my room a pale pastel yellow with a deepish brown trim would it look nice together ?
If you don't think yellow and brown are nice together i was thinking a pastel yellow with a pale grey trim thoughts on this ?

Don't think brown would look good at all. If you are stuck with using yellow I would say orange. Or if you are looking for other colors, my niece just painted her room purple and made dots with orange, lime green, yellow and baby blue. When she told me the idea I was like ewwww but after seeing it, it actually looks very nice and all of stuff goes in with the colors.

Grey is nice, Pastel yellow with a pale lavender trim. Or a slate blue trim will harmonize. Check out this artist- he has a simple 3 or 4 color palette in his paintings that might help you visualize which colors go well together on your walls.

Don't do the yellow and brown combo. It reminds me of a banana.

Do what you like. I think they would look fine.
