I'm thinkin' Cad Red Light, with maybe just a speck of orange in it. Vermillion looks a bit orange to me.

I'd say either Cadmium red light or medium. Depending of course on the other colors in your palette. When I paint using the zorn palette I prefer cad red light. But I think medium is a bit closer.

Bit more info. Why don't you want to use it...and if you don't have it.. what do you have?
