how much is my picasso print the lovers worth? ?

It has an old sheet of paper with artist info attached to the back and reads "Print No. 100" on the back. It has the signature and a twelve in the lower right corner. The sheet says "Two Lovers" rather than "The Lovers" PLEASE HELP

Your print is no. 100, but of how many? If we do not know,we do not know, I would assume, however, it would be 100 of 100 prints total. I would also assume that the artist may have written this

as 100/100. Obviously, he hasn't. The 12 is the date, 1912. Two lovers? Anybody might say "the lovers" but can you imagine for one second that Picasso would allow himself to be so pedestrian? Not even in his names!



What could its value be? Check for yourself under 'Value of Picasso Print' on the Internet. You have his signature, too. That is good. Do you know it is only a print and not an original drawing? It would be more valuable if an original.

Unless your print is both signed and numbered, it is likely merely an offset lithograph with only a nominal value. IF it IS signed and numbered and is a limited edition lithograph, you would be able to find an approximate value by consulting a print dealer who specializes in Picasso. Such a dealer could be found easily thru the internet.
