I have a ton of paintings to do and I'm okay at multitasking, but i don't know if doing that would cause the paintings to look bad because i slacked off. i have like 6 paintings to do at once. I don't want them to turn out bad, but I'm really pressed for time.

Sometimes it can help keep things "fresh". If you start to get bored/fed up with one you can work on another one while you muster the strength to face it again.

I like to focus on one thing at a time but if you're under pressure it would probably be more efficient to work on more than one.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with working 2 or more paintings at the same time and it might even help you transfer ideas from one to another but I cannot see how it will ever save you time. It still takes 3 times as long to paint 3 pieces as it does to paint one ; simultaneously or not.

There's nothing wrong with working on one painting while another dries.

Whether they will come out well or not depends on your talent.

Many artists paint multiple pieces at once, but painting under the gun usually doesn't make for the best work.

It makes it feel like it is getting done faster. But if you want to focus then do one at a time.
