I think you need to be a bit more specific.



If you are talking about, for example, using a paintbrush to brush a primer such as BIN primer onto a surface such as metal, wood or plastic and then spray paint over that.. then yes.. you can, and the result would be fair-ok. Better result if you used a spray primer.



However, if you are talking about brushing a primer onto, lets say, a car part, then spray painting over it and expecting a beautiful flawless showroom finish then no, thats not what you will get.



It really depends on what the surface you are using is made from.
