I have a painting passed from my late grandma that I have always thought was cool. Now it s mine and I would like to know how I could find out if it s worth anything. It is an oval shaped piece of wood with the painting of an elephant on it signed by Phil Prentice. No frame just rope that is stapled into the back of it. Also on that back is written: A-C GROUP 1 EXTERIOR 46 PS1-74. Any help would be great.

I searched around on google and found some Phil Prentice paintings that were signed, which spanded from 40$ to 600$ I recommend extra research, but that is what I found.
