My teacher said that it can't be a brand specific product and it has to be somewhat simple to draw (not too many lines etc.) and my mom says that it needs to be cheap and easy to make because at the end we are presenting them and making the food for it. Thats pretty much it.

How about a spaghetti squash it a unique food. To prepare just cut in half turn cut side down in water and boil, cook until the inside meat is tender. When done turn cut side up get a spoon and scrape the meat free from shell, you can leave the meat in shell to serve just add tomato sauce, or spaghetti sauce to the top with a little bit of garnish and serve. you might even add a tomato to the picture. good luck

How about salad? Nice leafy green romaine lettuce with the pops of color of the veggies.

Cake? That's pretty simple. Paint it with a slice cut out? Have some strawberries on top, yum!

A Hamburger--a hotdog--a bowl of cereal--a ham sandwich with cheese and lettuce--a fruit salad with cut-up apples, bannanas, pineapples, cantelpes, strawberries, etc, and dip in the center--a garden salad with cut-up lettuce, pickles, onions, cumbercumbers, tomatoes, brockli, etc and a dip in the center---soupbeans in a kettle with cornbread---macroni---spagetta and meatballs--- strawberry, chocalate, and vanilla ice -cream with a topping of nuts, berries, topping in a bowl with a spoon, candy, etc. I would get your mom to help you choose a food...I bet she knows something simple to make and paint as well.

Mac & Cheese. Simple to make, and you get to work with warm colors and textures.
