What colors of acrylic paint can I mix for a nice blood red color?

I bought my hubby a replica of the slide box from the show Dexter sans the blood on the slides. I want it to look as real as possible without sacrificing my fingertips. lol.

red is a primary color so it really can't be made out of other colors. you would just need a really pure red straight out of the tube, and it might look more blood like with just a hint of black added.
