Painting by artist R. something ending z?

I have a painting that I like very much but I have no idea who painted it. The signature is a capital R. and the last looks like a slightly wavering horizontal line ending in a cursive z. It's depicts a man in a rowboat some distance from a beach with tile-roofed rustic homes built into hills and surrounded by scrub type shrubbery. If I can figure out how to add a photo to this question, I will.

I can't really help with the part about who painted it, but to put a picture in a question, you could take a photo, upload it to a free art site, such as photobucket, and copy and paste the URL of that image or a page with that image on it.

Compassionate eyes highlighted by utilising versatile eye brows which could flick from intolerance to effective glances of theory. around face with rosy cheeks and a brilliant nostril which could sniff out difficulty at a drop of a hat. Sharp tooth like a shark once I smile extensive whilst i'm satisfied with my truthful. Ears that hear a pin drop on the different factor of the earth. So word as God has spoken.
