I tried to pain on fabric with acrylic pain it dried really stiff what other paint can i use

The reason it dried stiff is because when it dries it gets a plastic coating. Try some sort of fabric paints, although the same thing might happen. You could try water colour, but make sure you stretch the fabric out and pin it down to stop it warping. Hope it helps!!

Go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels and buy some Fabric Medium. You mix this into your acrylic paint. It makes acrylic paint flexible so it doesn't dry stiff or crack and flake off. I have used this to paint clothing that has lasted years. You don't have to spend the additional money to buy fabric paint. Fabric paint is acrylic paint premixed with fabric medium. You can use the paint you already have.

there are fabric paints, puff paints, and sharpie now makes fabric markers (plus there are other brands of fabric markers). all are sold in craft stores or places like walmart. puff paint is usually under a dollar. where as the others are a little more expensive.

you should use fabric paint for painting fabric .
or you can buy (fabric medium) and use it with acrylic paint .
