So i am choosing from various artists, and i chose roy. well i have chosen lots of others but i keep finding i dont like that artist so i switch >< so i have to use his style to create my own painting. oh yeah, and heres the think i have to paint, im not a fan of painting. i draw. draw. draw.
anyways, i am thinking about making me look like a cartoon then doing pointillism on my face so its sort of like his painting/cartoons. i want to incorporate my hands so i have more to draw then just my face and hair...what sort of position should i situate my hands near my face in?
and do you think this is a good idea?

take a hundred pictures of your hands in different poses near your face.

One of them will be perfect.

yes it is a great idea!

You could make the scream face. But just doing a face is very very similar to Lichtenstein's works, usually teachers want you to branch out a bit more, so maybe do a whole body or something a little different but use the Lichtenstein art style. You could definitely incorporate more drawing so it is less about the paint, this would showcase your talent better.

Warhol's paintings is especially elementary to duplicate. Lichtenstein is a genius at high quality and that i doubt you may desire to do him justice in an afternoon. (For those of you making faces, have you ever gotten up on the brink of his works and seen what he did? with the help of hand?) in case you like an elementary answer get a image, positioned it by 4 Photoshop filters and set up them in a sq. - like a Warhol.
